Fortis Healthcare Q2 Results: Net Profit falls 15%

Fortis Healthcare, one of India's leading healthcare providers, reported a 15.7% year-on-year fall in net profit in Q2 report.

The net profit has fallen to Rs 183.9 crore for the quarter ended September 2023 as per the recent Q2 report of financials.

Despite the fall in net profit, Fortis Healthcare's revenue from operations increased 10% year-on-year to Rs 1,770 crore.

The company's shares slipped 1.4% in early trade on November 13 after the results were announced and people started selling.

Many of Fortis Healthcare's key facilities in Noida, Anandpur, and FEHI recorded healthy growth in revenues.

Key Growth Areas

The management of Fortis Healthcare is on track to adding 250 beds in FY24 to its network across facilities in Mulund, Kolkata, etc.
