On Thursday, various users started sharing screenshots on X(Twitter) sharing the checkout page of Swiggy with a wrong amount.

Users Accused Swiggy

The users were unhappy to see a wrong amount mentioned on the final billing page and said that Swiggy is overcharging.

Swiggy team quickly replied with a statement that it was due to a technical bug and customers were only charged the correct amount.

As per the team, the issue has been fixed and now the users will see only correct amount on the billing page.
