Google To Invest $2 Billion In OpenAI Rival Company Anthropic

Google has committed to invest $2 Billion in artificial intelligence company Anthropic.

Tech giant Google has already invested $500 Million in the company and will be investing $1.5 Billion more in the coming days.

This comes days after the company got the investment commitments from eCommerce leader Amazon. As per the reports, Amazon will be investing $4 Billion in OpenAI’s rival Anthropic over some time.

The huge investments from leading tech companies in Anthropic are showing the potential of Artificial Intelligence as a field. Also, the companies are trying to compete with OpenAI, the company behind the famous AI chatbot named ChatGPT.

Founded in 2021, Anthropic is an American artificial intelligence startup company, founded by former members of OpenAI. According to the latest updates, the company has also signed a $3 Billion Google Cloud deal for scaling its AI operation in the coming days.
