The managing director and CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, Radhika Gupta has joined Shark Tank India season 3 as a new judge.
Shark Tank India, which is a popular business reality TV show will be airing soon on Sony Entertainment. As per the latest updates from the official Twitter handle of Shark Tank India, Radhika Gupta has joined the panel as the newest judge.
This upcoming season now has four new faces including:
- Deepinder Goyal: Founder and CEO of Zomato
- Ritesh Agarwal: Founder and CEO of Oyo Rooms
- Izhar Iqubal: Co-founder and CEO of Inshorts
Who is Radhika Gupta?
Radhika Gupta, one of India’s youngest CEOs is the MD and CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, an asset management company based out of Mumbai. Radhika was born in Pakistan and because of a complication at birth, she ended up with a broken neck.
Now, she is known as ‘the girl with a broken neck’ and she describes the condition as a ‘weird tilt’.
Radhika completed her Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics (Concentrations in Finance and Management) from the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School in 2005.
At the age of 25, Radhika moved to India to start her own asset management company with her husband and a friend. A few years later, their company was acquired by Edelweiss Mutual Fund, and she finally became one of the youngest CEOs in India.
Her entry in Shark Tank India season 3 will inspire several people. And, the upcoming season will surely leave a mark on people with four new sharks along with the previous ones including Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Amit Jain, and Peyush Bansal.
