Ishan Bajpai is a B.Tech graduate in Mechanical Engineering with majors in Engineering Design, He has got around 4+ years of industrial experience across a few different verticals.
He has always been a tech-oriented person since the early days of his college and has worked on a number of industrial projects delivering quality products.
MELT’s Story and How It All Started
Ishan Bajpai always had an interest in technology and development. He started researching Additive manufacturing technology and its advantages in late 2018.
After he has got enough understanding of the technology and market, he finally decided to start as a freelancer to have knowledge and grip over the pricing and technical areas.
In the beginning, it was not easy for him to get clients but after a lot of struggle, a client got convinced for getting a product developed by Ishan Bajpai at a cheaper cost compared to the market prices. On that very same day, Ishan decided to purchase a single desktop FDM machine and start producing the product.
The company was established later in the month of May in the year 2018. Since then, Ishan Bajpai with his team is delivering products and services across India. From a single machine placed in a hostel kitchen to a full-fledged profitable business, Ishan Bajpai worked hard to make it happen.
Major Challenges During Initial Days
Just as any other startup, the journey for MELT was never easy. Right from developing a strong vision to land in a competitive market was itself challenging.
Ishan Bajpai had many sleepless weeks in order to shape the company and keep the vision intact. He was handling both a full-time job and the startup in the earlier days. But, because of his strong will and trust in his idea, he was able to make MELT a reality.
