Dr. Reddy’s, the leading multinational pharmaceutical company on Wednesday announced the launch of its first D2C eCommerce platform ‘Celevida Wellness’. The platform is focused on diabetic patients and is launched by Dr. Reddy’s wholly-owned subsidy Svaas Wellness.
The platform will list products from Celevida, Dr. Reddy’s flagship nutrition brand for diabetic patients along with other third-party brands. The products will be focused on Type 2 diabetic and pre-diabetic patients. Celevida Wellness aims to become a one-stop solution for all the nutritional and diabetic care needs of patients.
As per the brand, there will be a range of products including beverages, cereals, multivitamins, and other related products. As per the company’s statement, they list brands and products after a strict onboarding process that covers rigorous diligence study of their nutritional composition.
Also, their website currently delivers products to more than 18,000 pin codes which they might expand in the near future.
“As a business, this launch strengthens our presence in the nutraceutical segment, and also marks our foray into the D2C space in keeping with evolving pharma business models as we aim to reach more than 1.5 billion patients by the year 2030.” – M.V.
