Peak XV has announced the launch of its 9th cohort program Surge 09, a group of early-stage startups featuring 32 founders across 13 startups. It is the 9th cohort program and with this new launch, the surge community now has more than 330 founders and over 140 startups.
With Surge 09, the main focus for Peak XV seems on the startups with trending industries like AI and Deeptech. Apart from that, there are startups in other sectors as well including ClimateTech, Semiconductor, HealthTech, and more.

Among the 13 startups, 7 startups are from India with many of them having cross-border operations. Here are the names of startups from India:
