YouTube in their recent updates on their informal channel Creator Insider shared about a new feature ‘Pause Comments’.
The team at YouTube is currently experimenting with this new feature that allows content creators to pause new comments on their videos without affecting the already posted comments.
Previously, content creators had limited control over how to deal with the comments. They could either hold new comments for review or disable them from being shown on their videos. But now, they can pause the incoming comments on a video without affecting the old comments that are already there on the videos.
At present, this feature is being tested on a few accounts, and after that YouTube might launch it for all the accounts.
As per KeeVurds, this is a good move by YouTube as content creators often face bullying or spam from people or bots. Now, they can keep only the good comments and prevent anyone from adding a new comment.
