Bengaluru and Singapore-based AI startup GigaML has raised $3.6 Million in its seed funding round led by Nexus Ventures. The round also included Y Combinator, Liquid 2 Venture, 8vdx, and angel investors like Garry Tan.
Founded in the year 2023, by Esha Manideep Dinne and Varun Vummadi, GigaML allows enterprises to deploy customizable large-language models in a secure way that other open-source platforms cannot.
At present GigaML helps enterprises in customer support and generate programming codes for their teams. But, in the upcoming days, the company will be diversifying its offering by adding new services.
With the increasing demand for AI and LLM-based solutions, organizations are looking for platforms to train and deploy their own models. Though there are a number of open-source platforms available, security and reliability is a serious concern.
GigaML on the other side allows these organizations to deploy and train LLMs like GPT4 on their own servers without the need to transfer sensitive data to OpenAI’s servers.
“We are thrilled to announce that we have secured a $3.6 Million Seed round! Also, the launch of our new LLM X1 Mini 7b for super low latency (10ms) with an MT bench score of 7.45 applications like customer care calls makes X1 Mini the most powerful LLM in its sector.” Varun Vummadi said in his LinkedIn post.
