As per the latest updates, Deepinder Goyal, founder of Zomato, joined Shark Tank India season 3 as a new shark. The announcement was made on the official social media handle of the Shark Tank India TV series.
Just a few days back we found Ritesh Agarwal, co-founder and CEO of Oyo Rooms joining the team. Now, with Deepinder Goyal joining the team, another great name has been added to the list of sharks.
Who is Deepinder Goyal?
Deepinder Goyal is the co-founder and CEO of Zomato, one of the leading food delivery services. He graduated with an integrated master’s degree in Mathematics and computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-Delhi) in 2005.
Deepinder left his job at Bain to start Zomato which was named foodiebay earlier. He still looks at the strategy and product development at Zomato and will be seen in the latest season of the Shark Tank TV series.

Deepinder has joined other sharks including Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Amit Jain, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, and Ritesh Agarwal. The shooting for the new season has already been started and the show will be ready to be aired by January 2024.
With the two new sharks joining the team, everyone is excited about how it will turn out. Though people are still missing Ashneer the joining of Ritesh and Deepinder overshadowed things for now. The Shark Tank India team also looks forward to bringing some new excitement to the stage.
