Bucketlistt Raises Rs 7.6 Crore in Seed Round Led by Kairon Capital to Take Verified Travel Experiences Beyond Rishikesh

Bucketlistt raised Rs 7.6 crore in a seed round led by Kairon Capital to expand its travel experiences platform from Rishikesh to Manali and Bir.

Ahmedabad based travel startup Bucketlistt.com has raised Rs 7.6 crore in a seed funding round led by Kairon Capital. Titan Capital, Divisa Family Office and R for Rabbit founder Kunal Popat also joined the round. The round was announced on 26 October 2026.

What the money will fund

The company will use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology and product and to onboard more high quality experience providers. It will expand beyond its home base of Rishikesh, starting with Manali and Bir. It will also invest in content, organic discovery and distribution partnerships.

A marketplace plus software for operators

Bucketlistt helps travellers discover and book verified travel experiences across India. Its listings range from skydiving in Mount Abu and front row seats at the Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh to dinner with royal families in Jaipur. Every operator on the platform is vetted directly by the founding team before onboarding.

Alongside the marketplace, the company runs OkGhumo, an operating system for experience providers. OkGhumo manages bookings, inventory, agents, payments and daily operations for operators. It was launched in March 2026 and has since served more than 50,000 customers.

Leading adventure operators in Rishikesh now use OkGhumo daily to manage bookings, inventory, agent settlements and payments. The software replaces calls, WhatsApp messages and spreadsheets for those businesses. It also gives Bucketlistt live inventory, so travellers receive instant and reliable confirmations.

The numbers behind the round

The company says Bucketlistt.com and OkGhumo together managed more than Rs 22.5 crore in bookings over the last 10 months. Bucketlistt.com itself has served more than 12,000 customers in that period. About one in five of its customers now arrives through word of mouth rather than paid marketing.

The seed round follows a Rs 1.07 crore pre-seed angel round at a post-money valuation of Rs 10.07 crore. That earlier round drew angel investors including Arvind Choudhar, Aenik Shah, Kartik Khatri and Yash Mehta. The step up to institutional seed capital marks a vote of confidence in the model.

Founders who know the terrain

Bucketlistt was founded in 2025 by Shubham Makhecha, Nitant Desai and Divyam Shah. Makhecha is a chartered accountant ranked All India 36 who previously worked at Accenture and PwC. He is also a certified paragliding pilot and trek leader who has guided more than 3,000 participants across India.

Desai is also a chartered accountant and a former PwC professional with trekking experience. Shah is a full-stack developer who leads technology at the company. The mix of finance, operations and engineering experience shapes both sides of the business, the consumer marketplace and the operator software.

A crowded field and a local edge

Kairon Capital is a venture firm launched by former Amazon India executive Deepankur Malhotra. Its debut fund targets Rs 200 crore with a first close of Rs 90 crore. It writes cheques of Rs 2 crore to Rs 14 crore, and the Bucketlistt round sits squarely in that range.

Competition is formidable. Bucketlistt competes with global experience platforms such as Klook, GetYourGuide, Alyve and Viator. Those rivals bring far larger marketing budgets and global supply. Bucketlistt is betting that verified local operators and its own operator software can win trust where global platforms stay generic.

The company has previously estimated India’s experience tourism market at about USD 45 billion. That figure is the company’s own estimate, not an independent market study. Even if the true number is smaller, the market is clearly large and fragmented, with travellers still relying on unorganised operators in many destinations.

Indian travel technology has drawn investor interest before. KeeVurds previously covered TravClan raising $5 million to power travel agents with artificial intelligence. Bucketlistt attacks a different problem, the trust gap in booking experiences, rather than the agent workflow.

The honest view

The honest read is that this is a promising but early bet. Rs 7.6 crore is modest capital for a two sided marketplace that must win both travellers and operators city by city.

Expansion to Manali and Bir will test whether the Rishikesh playbook travels. If word of mouth keeps growing and OkGhumo locks in operators, Bucketlistt has a real shot at becoming India’s trusted experiences brand.
