Amagi Media Labs has reported record quarterly revenue of Rs 476 crore for the three months ended 30 September 2026. The Bengaluru media technology company announced the results on 5 November 2026, with net profit of Rs 75 crore, nearly 30 times the Rs 2.5 crore earned a year earlier.
Profit grows faster than revenue
Operating revenue rose 27 percent from Rs 375 crore in the same quarter last year. Profit grew far faster because expenses rose only 9 percent to Rs 419 crore, while total income including other income crossed Rs 500 crore for the first time.
Adjusted EBITDA more than doubled to Rs 89 crore, and its margin widened by 7.6 percentage points to 18.7 percent. Profit margin reached 14.9 percent, up from less than 1 percent a year ago, when the company was barely profitable.
Revenue for the first half of the financial year reached Rs 913 crore, up 29.5 percent from a year ago, while profit rose nearly 17 times to Rs 109 crore.
Operating cash flow turned positive at Rs 94 crore, against an outflow of Rs 98 crore in the same period last year.
Amagi ended September with cash and treasury balances of Rs 1,774 crore and no debt. That cushion gives the company room to keep investing in products and people without raising fresh capital in the near term.
Three business lines all moved up
Streaming unification remained the largest business, with revenue up 35 percent to Rs 261 crore. The unit helps media companies manage content distribution across streaming platforms, and it now brings in more than half of operating revenue.
The monetisation and marketplace unit, which helps content owners earn advertising revenue and widen distribution, grew 28 percent to Rs 120 crore. Cloud modernisation, which shifts broadcasters from on premise systems to cloud software, rose 9 percent to Rs 95 crore in the quarter.
The cloud figure rises to 36 percent after adjusting for a one off revenue gain in the year ago quarter. Operating scale showed up in the usage numbers too, as channel deliveries rose 29 percent to 10,787 and monetised advertising impressions jumped 65 percent to 16 billion.
AI products take centre stage
Alongside the results, Amagi launched four AI products during the quarter. Amagi STUDIO, FANPULSE, Integrated Localization and Agentic NOC form part of the company’s Media Industry Cloud, its platform for running media operations on AI led software.
Its NEWSPULSE product moved into live operations at local stations of a major US broadcast group, and it won TVTech Best of Show at IBC 2026.
The product also won the Best Use of Agentic AI in Media award at the CSI Awards 2026, and Amagi was named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape 2026 assessment for the AI driven business cycle in media.
Amagi also strengthened its board for the AI shift, appointing Dr Bhaskar Ghosh, former chief strategy and innovation officer at Accenture, and Srividhya Srinivasan, Amagi co founder and chief technology officer, as directors.
Q2 marked new highs for revenue, Adjusted EBITDA and PAT. Alongside stronger cash generation in the first half, this reflects the progress we have made in scaling the business with greater operating discipline. We see three major opportunities ahead: helping customers operate more efficiently, reach new audiences and maximize revenues from their content. We expect AI to play an important role across all three. With NEWSPULSE moving into customer operations and four new AI products launched this quarter, we are building on our Media Industry Cloud.

Founded in 2008 by Baskar Subramanian, Srividhya Srinivasan and Srinivasan KA, Amagi began with geo targeted television advertising before moving into cloud broadcast software. It now serves more than 400 content providers and 300 distributors across more than 40 countries, including NBCUniversal, CBS, Samsung TV Plus and Warner Media.
For the rest of the financial year, Amagi says its priorities are sustaining revenue growth, improving operating leverage and strengthening cash conversion. It plans to keep investing in AI, products and people, and the next test is whether the new AI products turn into revenue growth in the second half.
